FREE Internet access for students of
Phoenix Union High School District,
Alhambra Elementary School District,
Cartwright Elementary School District, and
Phoenix College
Currently the PhxDECC project is in the pilot or Proof of Concept (POC) mode.
This allows us to perform testing and proving of both the design and interest.
The POC area encompases slightly more than a 4 square mile area as indiacted by the map below.
Students who attend one of the school districts listed above, and who reside in the POC area
are encouraged to take part in the initial POC phase by clicking the link below to get registered.
(Please check the map below to verify you are in the POC area.)
Although funds have been appropriated, they have not yet been released for full production.
Phase I (the POC phase) will be concluding soon and we anticipate moving into Phase II
during the summer months of 2023.
We're building a new future and we want you to be part of it.
We want to bridge the digital divide and empower school districts by providing free internet to students who need access.
There are many reasons why a student may not have internet.
We are not here to discvoer why, we only want to bridge the Digitial Divide and make the internet availalbe for free.
Internet connectivity at home is now easier than ever before.
Great project - provides a vital benefit for students who need access...
